The 1,850 square foot home on Bainbridge Island, eight miles across the Puget Sound from Seattle, is bristling with eco-friendly features. The exterior of the green spec home also incorporates James Hardie fiber cement products in creative ways, resulting in a handsome look for a wholesome house.

James Hardie - Streetscapes Vermont Town Prohibits Vinyl Siding for Historic Church Renovation
Plans by a church to re-install vinyl siding on its 19th century rectory in Williston, Vermont were denied by a city review board recently. The panel instead instructed the church to remove sections of the old vinyl to first look for original clapboard underneath for restoration. If none is found, the parish will be allowed to install fiber cement siding.
