HardieWrap Weather Barrier Solution

James Hardie's mission is to build better homes. We pioneered better siding, the first layer of defense against the elements. Now, HardieWrap™ weather barrier provides a second layer of defense. Together, the siding and HardieWrap weather barrier work to form a major part of the protective building envelope.

Most building codes require a water-resistive barrier over the sheathing and behind the siding. HardieWrap weather barrier is a higher-performance, water-resistive barrier uniquely designed for better protection and fast and easy installation. When properly installed under James Hardie® fiber-cement siding, it gives your homes an unmatched double line of defense against water damage, mold and air penetration. And, it comes with the name you and your customers know and can count on — James Hardie.

HardieWrap weather barrier solution can be used on single-family homes, duplexes, town homes, multi-family homes and some light commercial buildings.
